In the year 2004 Pilar Fathers landed in Vasai Dioceses. Then Pilar Fathers moved into the Eastern side of Vasai realizing the need for education in these areas. The members of Pilar Fathers lived in a small house and carried out its activities.

In the year 2006-2009 Fr. Diogo Indira F’des, Fr. Victorino F’des, Fr. Martinho Alvares & Fr. Remedies Gonsalves did the pioneering work in this area especially helping and guiding the youth in computer classes and tailoring.

In the year 2009, Fr. Agnel School was established and on 20th Nov 2011, the day of our Patron, Ven. Fr. Agnelo, the new building of Fr. Agnel school was blessed by Archbishop Felix Machado, Bishop of Vasai in the presence of Fr. Tony Lopes Superior General of the society of Pilar, Fr. Sebastiao Mascarenhas the Provincial Superior of Mumbai Province, Fr. Angelino, the Local Superior, Fr. Romulado Gonsalves ,the Manager and Fr. Pravin Gavit, the Principal of the School.

The School Construction work was largely helped by the Society of Pilar Bombay “Under the guidance of Ambernath Community led by the Local Superior Fr. Sylvester M. and Fr. Joseph Fernandes. The School started in Fr. Agnel Niwas with Nursery to Sr. KG classes.

Fr. Agnel School Waliv – Vasai (E) of the Mumbai Province is the hard work of the Pilar Fathers in Vasai Diocese of the service to God and humanity in the field of education.
